Biography
Dr. Bozhang Dong is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Université Laval, and an active member of the Centre d'optique, photonique et laser (COPL). He is also a member of IEEE, OPTICA and a trusted evaluator for IOP. His research focuses on the development of integrated quantum box lasers for silicon photonic circuits, with particular emphasis on nonlinear dynamics and quantum phenomena induced in optoelectronic microstructures.
He is also interested in the emerging applications of these technologies in the fields of high-speed optical communications, optical and quantum computing, and next-generation spectral sensing. His research has resulted in over forty publications in prestigious international journals such as Nature, Nature Photonics and Light: Science & Applications. Dr. Dong is a regular contributor to the scientific review for major journals published by IEEE, OPTICA and IOP.
